Got my final two tokens out today. We had a blast trying to find different places to put these. Hopefully there have been many others who have come to this site because of the tokens we placed!
Have a good one!

So I have not really paid attention to the news letters, as I just hosted a annual Fishing Caching event, Where in conjunction I did finish placing my remaining tokens. When I came on the site to report them I also see that yeah there is fishing here as well. I will have have to find a way to get a bit of sponsorship for next year, if nothing more than a shout out.

I haven't cruised this forum in a while (between keeping caught up with MnGCA and the GC.com forums, this one sometimes gets neglected
). Anyhow, after dipping the coin in a few caches, I finally dropped it off at GC11ENM, Old Lyndale Avenue, on 8 August, and it was picked up 22 August - hopefully it'll be on it's way to Arizona soon! |

Bobcreek --
Not a bad idea. Just not feasible from a technology standpoint. Since all logs are verified manually, by a real person, there's no way to post what hasn't been done. But, I'm glad you liked the .pdf. I thought it was a good happy-medium for us all. Glad to hear your coin arrived safely. |

Hi Kim,
Thanks for sending the geocoin, it arrived this week. If I may, I would like to suggest that you create a web page where we could see all records for the caches where we placed your geotokens as well as the quantities. The same page should show the status of each one (preferably in different colors) indicating the ones you have not yet checked, the ones you have already verified and agreed, and finally the ones where you see a problem, so that we can immediately check what is wrong and resubmit the entry without even having to talk to you. That should speed-up the process and avoid people sending lots of e-mails. The PDF file you use today is most certainly not the best tool for controlling all this. |

I am so sorry that this is frustrating. It can be frustrating for me as well: somebody gets to 45 tokens accounted for and I'm not sure if they're done or not. Usually, it's one of three things:
1. The cacher THINKS they've submitted the geocache via the form 2. There was a typo in the GC code and the cacher didn't re-fill out the form to let me know 3. I flat-out missed something. So, look for an email from me to each of you showing what I've got. We'll get it all sorted. And, Bobcreek, did you get my email from 8/12? |
